Forever Rake Kit for Scoop Free LB1 & LB2 machines

 

While Scoop Free® machines have generally proven to be extremely reliable and quiet, we've learned (through personal experience as well as from questions and comments from numerous users) that the rakes tend to rust prematurely -- in some cases so badly that the rake tines simply break off.

The other not-so-fun side effect of this is that poo tends to stick more easily to those rusty bits.....compounding the problem.

So we developed a replacement rake kit with a rake made entirely of stainless steel -- and we took the extra step of coating it with a stick-resistant coating! So instead of tossing your old (LB1, LB2 or SX1/SX2) model Scoop Free into the trash (and adding even more to our already overflowing landfill!) you can now save some money as well as help the planet by replacing the rake and keeping your machine in service.

As with all our products we put some thought into it -- so with your kit you receive:

  • A stainless steel replacement rake, coated with stick resistant coating 
  • All replacement screws (also made of stainless steel) just in case you lose one or to replace corroded ones 
  • The right screwdriver to do the job

Please note: This kit will fit ONLY the LB1, LB2, SX1 or SX2 model machines. It will NOT work with SX3 or SX4, or Slide model machines -- please verify your model before purchasing or attempting installation.

You can confirm your model number by turning the machine over and looking at the silver sticker underneath.

 

 

 

Installation Instructions

 

PLEASE NOTE: If you have an early version (2nd generation light blue Forever Litter Tray identified by a 90 degree bend in the clear lid) please click here for instructions for a (very easy) modification to the lid to ensure proper operation of your rake kit. There is a possibility that your lid may catch on the new rake if this modification isn't performed. (Not necessary if you have a first generation white PVC tray).
